Interview Guidelines

Dear Scientists and Researchers,

Warm greetings from Biggani.org. Through our platform, we conduct interviews with distinguished individuals involved in science and research, which inspires the younger generation to pursue research and develop a scientific mindset.

Types of Interviews We Offer

At Biggani.org, we conduct two types of interviews:

Text-Based Interview: In this method, we send you a Google Form where you can submit your answers in writing. => See details: Submit an Interview
Video-Based Interview: In this method, interviews are conducted via video using Zoom, Google Meet, or other platforms.

Guidelines for Video Interviews

Below are some important details about our video interview process:

Volunteer Team: The interview is primarily conducted by our team of volunteers, who are mostly undergraduate students from public and private universities in Bangladesh. They participate by researching your background and preparing questions.
Presenter: A presenter will conduct your interview. In addition, the team of students and volunteers will also be present at the interview.
Connecting with Youth: Through this process, we provide opportunities for the younger generation to network with senior scientists and build bridges for sharing knowledge.

Interview Steps

Scheduling Date and Time: First, we will arrange a suitable date and time for the interview with you. Then, we will send you a meeting invite with the link to Zoom, Google Meet, or another platform.
Registration: We will promote the event on social media, and interested participants will need to register. Registered participants will then receive the meeting link.
Interview and Recording: At the scheduled time, the interview will take place via Zoom, Google Meet, or another platform, conducted by the presenter and recorded. The main part of the event usually lasts 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session where student participants can ask questions.
Video Editing and Publication: After the interview, we will edit the video to remove any unnecessary parts. The edited video will then be published on our YouTube channel. Biggani.org YouTube Channel Link.
Article: A detailed article covering the topics discussed in the interview will be published as well.

Advice for Your Preparation

Before the interview, we will provide you with a list of possible questions so you can prepare.
Please make sure you have a stable internet connection and that Zoom, Google Meet, or any other required platform is installed.
As the interview will be conducted by video, please check that your webcam is connected and working.
Make sure there is sufficient lighting in your room so that you are clearly visible on camera.
If you do not wish to turn on your webcam for religious or any other reason, please inform the presenter in advance.
