Passion and Interests: Her main interests lie in health informatics, public health, data-driven social development, and the digital promotion of science education.
Why she wants to be a scientist: Joynab believes that research and evidence-based decision-making can be the foundation for Bangladesh’s health and social development. In the future, she wants to contribute to public health and policy-making through technology and data by working in research and academia, and she aims to inspire young people to pursue science.
biggani.org (Biggani Org) is a volunteer-driven science and technology platform. Behind every achievement of this initiative lies the tireless effort, time, and dedicated contribution of countless young volunteers. From website management, writing science articles, presenting research topics in simple language, to conducting interviews with scientists, and creating content for video and social media—all these activities have been made possible through the collective efforts of our volunteers.
The goal of biggani.org is to make science accessible to the general public, especially to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and an interest in research among students and the younger generation. To achieve this goal, volunteers have played key roles as writers, presenters, coordinators, research assistants, video editors, and digital content creators. In many cases, they have managed to contribute to this initiative alongside their studies or personal commitments—which is truly commendable.
Every article we publish, every interview and event we organize, and the regularly updated website—all of these are grounded in the dedication and sense of responsibility of these volunteers. Their work has not only advanced a platform but also helped establish a stronger foundation for science engagement and science communication in Bangladesh.
