Your CGPA is 3.0, which many believe is not enough for higher studies. However, the reality is—this is never truly a roadblock for your future education. What matters more is how you move forward with your passion, hard work, and clear goals.

The Importance of Hard Work:

By the grace of Almighty Allah, if scholarships abroad are destined for you, you will surely get one. However, even with a CGPA of 3.0, you will need some additional qualifications and preparation to secure a scholarship overseas. This is achievable through one year of dedicated effort, which can greatly increase your chances.

IELTS Score:

An important step is achieving a good score in the IELTS exam. For most universities in many countries, IELTS is a key requirement for scholarships. You should aim for a score of 7.0–7.5 or higher, as this demonstrates your proficiency in English. Your language skills and communication abilities will further strengthen your application.

Research & Publications:

One of the most crucial aspects for scholarships is your research and academic profile. Even if your CGPA is low, having 4–5 quality research papers and being able to prove your capability in research will significantly boost your chances of getting a scholarship.

Gain knowledge about new research topics in your field, read journal articles, and prepare yourself to research in your areas of interest.

Portfolio Development:

It is very important to build your academic and extracurricular profile. Mention any volunteer work or projects you have been involved in. Enhance your LinkedIn profile and build your professional network. This will help you gain better insights into opportunities abroad.

Choosing Country and University:

Some of the countries that offer scholarships include Canada, Germany, Finland, Norway, and Australia. It’s relatively easier to get scholarships for research-based MS or PhD programs at universities in many developed countries. Choose a university that matches your research interests and has faculty working in areas aligned with yours.

Believe in Yourself and Prepare with Patience:

If Allah has destined a scholarship for you, it will certainly be yours. Don’t worry about a low CGPA—be optimistic about yourself and start preparing. With proper planning and hard work, you will move closer to achieving your dreams, InshaAllah.

Start planning from today—prepare for IELTS, start working on research, and make continuous efforts to improve yourself to the fullest.

May Almighty Allah grant you a prestigious scholarship for higher studies.
