You must be able to speak and write clear English with proper pronunciation. You will also need to learn how to conduct research, analyze data (Data Analysis), and perform statistical analysis. Mastering the skills for writing high-quality papers and submitting them to the right journals is necessary. You should gain expertise in how to respond to reviewers’ comments on your papers.
It’s important to learn how to email foreign professors and create project proposals. You will also need to develop proficiency in essential software like Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, SPSS, Python, R, and others. Learning these will significantly smooth your research journey.
