In modern scientific research, merely discovering new information is not enough; the real challenge lies in making integrated and analytical decisions based on previous studies. Often, different studies on the same topic can yield varying results, making it difficult to draw conclusions without proper review. In such situations, Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis play an extremely important role. A Systematic Review is a methodical process where all relevant previous research is systematically collected and analyzed to answer a specific question. Meta-Analysis, on the other hand, is the statistical analysis of that collected data, which combines the results of various studies to provide a comprehensive and reliable conclusion. This approach not only enhances the quality of research but also provides evidence-based support for decision-making.

Without a proper understanding of Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis, it can become difficult to accurately evaluate and apply research findings. To address this, Johns Hopkins University has launched a completely free course on Coursera called “Introduction To Systematic Review And Meta-Analysis.” Anyone can enroll in this course at any time. To receive a digital certificate upon completion, a specific fee must be paid.
