Professor Dr. Moha: Yamin Hossain
University of Rajshahi
Dear Fellows,
Assalamu Alaikum.
Close your eyes and imagine—you are an ordinary student, with only willpower and intelligence as your assets. One or two years from now, you are walking through the gates of a world-renowned university—Tokyo University, Oxford, Harvard, Melbourne, or IIT. And at that university, you are heading to conduct research on a full scholarship.
This is not a fictional story. This is absolutely possible—possible for you.
I’m discussing step-by-step how to prepare to make this dream a reality, with real-life examples.
1. Build Your Mindset
Don’t say, “I can’t do it”—say, “How can I do it?”
Don’t say, “My family isn’t wealthy”—say, “Allah is the provider of sustenance!”
Don’t say, “I don’t know”—say, “I will learn!”
Example:
Many ordinary students from University of Rajshahi had a CGPA of only 3.5. They had no IELTS, no publications or maybe just 1 or 2 publications. Yet, within six months, they learned IELTS and scored 7, wrote papers or review articles, and received the MEXT scholarship to Hiroshima University in Tokyo.
So why can’t you?
May Almighty Allah grant you a long and blessed life and accept you among the best researchers in the world.
Ameen Ya Rabbul Aalameen
