That means the digital influencers earned about $1 million per hour, or more than 110 million Bangladeshi Taka per hour.

It’s notable that this income exceeds what Luo Yonghao and Xiao Mu used to earn in their live, in-person streams. The fact that the AI avatars outperformed previous livestreams featuring the real influencers has sparked global excitement.

Currently, there are about 765 million livestream shopping users in China. With such a massive user base, this industry has enormous potential. The arrival of artificial intelligence could usher in a new era. Whereas previously, human hosts, camera crews, and strict schedules were required, the entire process can now be managed automatically with AI avatars.

This new livestreaming method doesn’t just eliminate human fatigue and limitations—it also allows for continuous, 24-hour operation. As a result, operational costs decrease, efficiency increases, and it enables closer and faster communication with customers.
