Zibran began his student life at Pabna Cadet College. Even at that time, the seeds of his passion for science were sown. Driven by his curiosity and unwavering will, he later enrolled at the Islamic University of Technology in Bangladesh and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
The Journey to Canada
He moved from Bangladesh to Canada. While pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of Lethbridge, he discovered a deep interest in software engineering. Subsequently, he completed his PhD at the University of Saskatchewan. His research in software security and code analysis was remarkably pioneering for its time.
A Quest in the World of Code
The main focus of Zibran’s research is to eliminate software bugs and security vulnerabilities. “Every software bug is not just a technical problem,” he says, “it’s a human problem. Because code is written by people, and their feelings influence the quality of the code.”
