Dr. Ahmed Abidur Razzaque Khan’s story is not just about his academic achievements, but also stands as a unique example of working for humanity. Raised in a family devoted to education in Dhaka, Dr. Khan grew up with a deeply inquisitive mind. At the center of his thoughts and actions has always been a sense of responsibility toward the marginalized.

His academic journey began at the University of Dhaka, where he completed his master’s in philosophy. However, his thirst for higher education led him to travel the world. After completing a Master’s in Human Rights and Social Development at Mahidol University, Thailand, he earned a diploma in Cinema and Human Rights from the European Inter-University Centre in Venice, Italy.

Then came a major milestone in his life—he jointly earned a Ph.D. in “Human Rights, Society, and Multi-level Governance,” from the University of Padova (Italy) and Western Sydney University (Australia). This achievement gave him a distinguished place in the global academia.

In 2024, he became an associate member of the Club of Rome, an esteemed and influential think tank based in Switzerland. That same year, he also joined the Development Studies Association of Australia (DSSA).
