Often, due to viruses, the Task Manager becomes disabled or inactive. As a result, when you try to open Task Manager, you see the message “Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator.” There are several ways to enable Task Manager.
Method 1: Open Notepad, type the following code, and save it as TMEnabled.reg.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem]
“DisableTaskMgr”=dword:00000000
Now, if you run the TMEnabled.reg file, the registry will be edited and Task Manager will be enabled.
Method 2: Go to Run, type REG add HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f and press Enter. This will edit the registry and enable Task Manager.
Method 3: First, go to Run, type gpedit.msc and press Enter to open Group Policy. Then go to User Configuration/Administrative Templates/System/Ctrl+Alt+Del Options and double-click on Remove Task Manager. Select Disable or Not Configured and click OK, then close Group Policy. This will enable Task Manager.
