M S Hossain grew up in a typical village in Noakhali, Bangladesh. From an early age, his deep fascination with machines, electricity, and technology led him toward engineering. After completing his Bachelor’s in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering from North South University, he pursued higher studies in Australia and the United States. He is currently conducting PhD research in Industrial and Systems Engineering in the US and has had a longstanding career in leading oil, gas, and energy sector environments.

The distinctive aspects of his professional life include hands-on work, managing major plant shutdowns, coordinating hundreds of people, and demonstrating real leadership even under pressure. To him, leadership isn’t just a position; it’s about making an impact through action.
