The World’s Largest Television

We are all familiar with the word “television.” Nowadays, this small device has made its way into nearly every household. With technological advancements, television can now be watched on mobile phones and even the internet. Although TVs are becoming smaller, they are also getting bigger. Do we know how big the world’s largest plasma TV is? Last year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Panasonic showcased a 108-inch plasma TV. Breaking that record, at this year’s recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Japan’s Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Corporation unveiled a 150-inch plasma television. This television can display high-definition (1080-pixel) images. It is capable of showing nine different channels simultaneously, each in the size of a 50-inch television. It is expected that this television will hit the market next year.
