What is a KVM Switch?

The name KVM switch comes from the “K” in Keyboard, “V” in Video, and “M” in Mouse. By using a KVM switch, you can operate multiple computers with a single set of keyboard, monitor, and mouse.

Reasons to use a KVM switch:-
1. You are a network administrator who manages many servers at once. With a KVM switch, you can control all the servers from one place.

2. You use multiple PCs but don’t have enough space on your desk for several monitors. A KVM switch is your solution.
3. Using only one monitor saves a lot of electricity.
