Our very own science writer Abdul Gaffar Roni has taken on the challenging task of presenting complex scientific topics in Bangla using simple language.
He was born on December 3rd in the village of Katapole, in the maternal home in Jibannagar Upazila, Chuadanga. He loves reading books and singing songs. Alongside studying, writing, and traveling, he also serves as the associate editor of the country’s most popular science magazine, BigganChinta. So far, he has published 35 books. For his book on Bose-Einstein Condensate, he received the Bangla Academy’s Halima Sharfuddin Science Award in 2023. For children’s stories, he received UNICEF’s Meena Media Award in 2015. Notable books include: Theory of Relativity, Quantum Physics, Nuclear Physics, Black Hole, Schrödinger’s Cat, The God Particle, Quantum Quest, Bose-Einstein Condensate: The Contribution of Scientist Satyendra Nath Bose, Paradox, and others.
